QUITAR LAS FLECHAS DE LOS ICONOS DE ACCESO DIRECTO WinXP

Para quitar las flechitas a los iconos de acceso directo, solo teneis que seguir estos pasos:

- Haz clic en el botón "Inicio" y a continuación sobre "Ejecutar", escribe "Regedit" y pulsa el botón Aceptar.


- Una vez estés en el Registro debes desplazarte por la siguientes claves y borrar el valor IsShortCut de las dos claves:
    
       HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile\IsShortCut
       HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile\IsShortCut


- Una vez borrados estos valores llamados IsShortCut, bastará con reiniciar la máquina para no ver más esas flechas.


- Reiniciar el Pc

StyleBuilder

StyleBuilder es una impresionante utilidad con la que podrás crear tus propios estilos visuales.

Dispone de todos los elementos de los que se compone un estilo visual perfectamente desglosados y organizados, de forma que no se despiste ningún elemento sin modificar.

Es una utilidad extremadamente completa. Ofrece también compresión del tema en un archivo ZIP, con lo que podrás distribuirlo fácil y cómodamente, y útiles funciones de previsualización y testeo, que te permitirá comprobar in situ cómo queda tu estilo.

Sin duda una gran ayuda para modificar o crear tus propios estilos visuales.

John’s Background Switcher

I can’t stand plain, boring backgrounds. John’s Background Switcher (or JBS for short) periodically changes the background image on your computer (like every hour or every day) to something interesting. You can specify which pictures to choose from:

• Individual pictures on your computer.
• Folders containing pictures on your computer such as ‘My Pictures’.
• Flickr photo sharing – selecting pictures by person, tags, sets or just plain random. You never know what you’re going to get next!
• Facebook – your friends photos on your desktop!
• Any Media RSS feed – choose pictures from sites like DeviantArt, Photobucket, LOLCats and Zooomr amongst many others!
• Phanfare web albums – keep up to date with your friends and family.

• Picasa Web Albums – choose from specific albums or any search text.
• Webshots – if you’re a Webshots user, you can choose from your photos.
• Google Image Search – get pictures from anywhere across the internet.
• Bing Image Search – not a Google fanboy? Then Bing is for you!
• Yahoo! image search – the internet is your oyster!

What Does It Do?
JBS sits in your system tray (down by the clock) and changes your background at the time interval of your choosing. You tell it where to get pictures from and how to show them – maybe you just want to see one photo at a time or maybe you’d like to see a ‘Snapshot Scrapbook‘ of photos thrown across your desktop. It’s up to you and you never know what’s coming next!

Not that much of a difference from the first one. I'm going to make some more color schemes though.

I wonder if I should change the scrollbar and buttons to the ones I used in the first Alduin. What do you think? I personally don't like the KDE4-ish look I got with the scrollbar. I probably should have listened to myself. "If it aint broken don't change it."

eSheep, Sheepy or Screen Mate Poe is a 16-bit Windows program by Fuji Television, in which a sheep runs around on the users desktop, interacting with open windows as well as with randomly generated objects, for instance flowers. If several copies are running at the same time, they will interact with each other. It can also alert the user about upcoming appointments. It is also partly comparable in function with later screensavers, although the user can continue working while the program is running. Multiple instances of the program can be run simultaneously.

The program is based on the Stray Sheep franchise by Japanese writer Tatsutoshi Nomura. The program originally (1996) distributed for 3,200 yen as a retail version, or 2,560 if bought by conventional mail. Computer students quickly translated the software to English and distributed that version over the internet for free illegally. As a reaction Engrish banners appeared on the official website where the sheep informed people "I am not a free". In 2000 the distributor stopped selling their software through snailmail. Similar programs, known as "screenmates", featuring other characters appeared as well during the same time.
